LungA art festival is each July, held in Seyðisfjörður. It’s a great festival to meet the artsy people from around Iceland. The festival attracts a lot of young creative adults. All guests can attend in workshops, dance at concerts, see exhibitions and a fashion show.
Art comes in many forms and this can be seen at the LungA art festival. All are welcome to come, participate and enjoy as different artists come together to share their creativity in one place. Young people, either from Iceland or from all over the world, come together to create an atmosphere filled with electric vibes and at the same time, share their knowledge and skills. This festival also aims to strengthen awareness about culture and arts. Everyone is invited especially those who wish to take lessons in art schools or those who also teach art classes.
The festival started in the year 2000 and is now held annually. From the first year of having only 20 participants, the festival has now successfully sold out their tickets in the past few years. Artists of various platforms should come, discover and enjoy the festival. It is a fun and exciting way for the young artists to learn more things about different arts through each other’s different expertise.
Be sure to attend LungA art festival if you’re in the area in July.
